Guest Liability for Damages

 

Should any damage occur to linen, furniture, fixtures, or other material aspects of the property due to the actions of the guest or any person granted access to the property by the guest, the guest shall be responsible for the entire cost of repair or replacement. This cost will be determined by Top Host Property Management (hereinafter referred to as “the Host”), and the guest agrees to cover such costs in full.

The cost of damages will be assessed based on the current market value of the damaged items, plus an additional 20%. The Host retains the right to include compensation for lost revenue if the damages are deemed by the Host to be sufficiently severe that the property cannot be rented out until repairs or replacements are completed.

Payment for damages must be deposited into the Host’s bank account within 48 hours of notification. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the guest agrees to incur the nightly rental rate for the property until the payment is made and confirmed.

Properties will be subject to inspection after the guest’s departure, and additional inspections may be conducted during the guest’s stay if the Host deems them necessary.

The guest acknowledges receipt of and agrees to comply with the property rules specified below and accepts full liability for any penalties or fines incurred due to breaches of these rules or those enforced by the relevant body corporate.

All individuals accessing or renting the property do so at their own risk. Neither the Host nor the property owner shall be held liable for any personal injury, death, or any other claims arising from or related to their presence on the property, regardless of the cause.
